The book falls under the non-fiction subject of children's and young adult literature. An ideal purchase for someone wanting some 1950,s nostalgia. Spine in great condition. No writing in ‘This belongs to’ box. The only issues are a slight tear on the first page, 1959 written in ink on the top of the second page and ‘From Aunt Violet’ written in ink on the forth page. There is a split in the spine at the bottom and top of the book and the covers are a little grubby.
